She was played by Frankie Cordero, who also played Papu. Description Mamu is Kako's mother and Papu's wife. She spends much of her time working at a large office, which is why she is not always at home. She is a very quiet but supportive and agreeable person. Throughout most of the series, Mamu is never seen aside from quick glimpses or references. She makes her first and only physical appearance in "Theater!" where she and Grampu watch the kids put on a play. Looks Mamu has dark skin, which is somewhat lighter than Papu's but darker than Kako's. She wears a black wig and has light green eyes. She usually wears a red bracelet on her wrist.
